To be honest, April had been slated for something else. However – after doing bread last month it occurred to me that it might make sense to move pizza up since pizza is… well… mostly bread. I love making (and eating) pizza and I’ve had rather good luck making it in the past. I used to make it in the oven but since buying a Big Green Egg a couple years ago I’ve preferred to cook them on that. While this has been largely successful and the pizzas turn out really good most of the time – I dont feel like I can consistently make good pizza. I realize there are many factors that go into making an awesome pizza so this month my goal is to really focus on those and trying to make consistently good pizza. I’m anxious to try different methods of baking, different dough recipes, and other variations. Stay tuned!
