Feeding the bread starter – 2

On day 2 of the feedings the bread starter showed some more noticeable bubbles in the surface.  It has not however started to rise and fall as far as I can tell…

So I once again discarded 80% of the mix, added more flour and water, mixed to a thick batter, scraped the sides, and the left covered on my counter.  I’ll check it again tomorrow.
