This month I’m going to spend on my garage.  The months up until this point have been mostly about learning new things but that’s not a hard and fast rule.  There are lots of things that I have wanted to do and just haven’t had the time to do.  Dedicating a month to one of these projects is a good way to prioritize it.  Plus – I’m going to be doing a lot of things I haven’t done before so it will still be learning.

When we bought our house 4 years ago the garage was sort of a mess.  Random shelves and weird storage crap all over the place.  I did the best that I could at the time to ‘make it nicer’ but I just simply didn’t have the time to dedicate to making it how I wanted it.  So this month, I’m going to do that.  I want to build storage the way I want it, finish the walls, and build a new work bench.  We have 2 cars now and might have 3 at some point so I want to make the most out of the storage space that I can so we can still accommodate 3 cars, the kids toys, and all of my tools.  It’s going to be a challenge for sure but I have to start somewhere.  Stay tuned!
